Über den Autor
John Patrick Byrne attended the Glasgow School of Art before beginning his career as a book designer and subsequent success as a painter of faux-naif images. He designed album covers for The Beatles, Billy Connelly, and Gerry Rafferty, and went on to write, design, and direct many stage and film productions, including The Slab Boys, Scotch & Wry, and Tutti Frutti. An associate of the Royal Scottish Academy, his paintings hang in The Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
