The author, born in Ireland, has been assured by his parents that he is a direct descent of the last High King. He professes to speak perfect Irish, though in a dialect that is particular to a specific region! [His garden shed.] He is adept at playing Irish tunes on his tin whistle. He admits he has yet to meet a leprechaun, but that may be because he resides in Australia.
