Über den Autor
Christine Edwards-Groves is an Associate Professor (Literacy Studies) at Charles Sturt University, Australia, and is a leading scholar in the field of pedagogy, literacy education, practice theory and professional learning. Christine has received a national award for Excellence in Educational Publishing and was the inaugural recipient of a national literacy research grant awarded by the Primary English Teaching Association Australia. She has published extensively in the fields of dialogic pedagogies, professional learning and practice theory. With Stephen Kemmis she recently published Understanding Education: History, Politics and Practice (Springer, 2018); and with Christina Davidson the book Becoming a Meaning Maker: Talk and interaction in the dialogic classroom (PETAA, 2017).Peter Grootenboer was a school teacher and leader for 12 years before moving into the tertiary sector. Having received a national Jim Campbell Award for teaching excellence, he is currently a Professor of Education at Griffith University and Deputy Director of the Griffith Institute for Educational Research. His research interests include mathematics education, educational leadership, practice/praxis theory, and action research.Jane Wilkinson is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia and Associate Dean of Graduate Research. Jane has published widely in the fields of practice theory and praxis, Bourdieu and leadership; gender and leadership; and refugee education. Jane edits the Journal of Educational Administration and History (with J.S. Brooks). Her latest book (with Laurette Bristol, 2018) is Educational Leadership as a culturally constructed practice: New directions and possibilities.
