An essential guide for pre-service and in-service English language teachers. Language teachers are often required to teach pronunciation without crucial knowledge or training in the basics of phonetics and phonology. Phonetics, Phonology and Pronunciation for the Language Classroom is an accessible and lively introduction which connects theory with classroom practice, helping future and current teachers to tackle these three crucial and interlocking subjects with confidence.
