Über den Autor
Eugen Dollmann was born in 1900 in Ratisbon, Germany. He graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Munich and continued his studies in the Vatican Library. After the war he wrote and translated books in both German and Italian. Dollmann died in 1985 in Munich, Germany.Gerhard Weinberg is the William Rand Kenan, Jr. Professor Emeritus of History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and author of several books on World War II, including A World at Arms.
