R. Kathryn McHugh, Ph.D., is an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and an Assistant in Psychology at McLean Hospital. She received her Ph.D. from Boston University in 2011. Her research focuses on the nature and treatment of anxiety and substance use disorders and the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychological interventions.David H. Barlow, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry, and Founder and Director Emeritus of the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University. He is the editor for the TreatmentsThatWork series of therapist manuals and patient workbooks, as well as the editor of The Oxford Handbook of Clinical Psychology.
