Über den Autor
Catherine Gunsalus Gonzalez is currently Professor of Church History at Columbia Theological Seminary. An ordained Presbyterian minister, Catherine received her B.A. from Beaver College, her S.T.B. from Boston University School of Theology and her Ph.D. from Boston University. She is particularly interested in the history of liturgy and how it displays the situation and the theology of the people; the history of women in the life of the church; and the effects on the church of the assimilation of new cultural groups within its life.
