Therapeutic Thematic Arts Programming for Older Adults
An innovative, integrative approach to therapeutic art and recreation for older adults. Through a 9-step process, participants explore a broad theme through a wide range of artistic expressions, including music, dance, poetry, sculpture, and photography. Activities exercise older adults' remaining abilities, promote creativity, and increase social interaction. Useful for working with both well elders and those facing illness or disability.
