Über den Autor


Geoffrey Chaucer (c.1343-1400) is best known for his celebrated work, 'The Canterbury Tales'. Bernard O'Donoghue studied Medieval English at Wadham College, Oxford, where he now teaches. He has published a number of volumes of poetry, including 'Gunpowder' (1995), which won the Whitbread Poetry Award. His latest book is a verse translation of 'Sir Gawain and the Green Knight' (2006).
