The collection of peer reviewed papers C-MRS 2012 meeting includes 137 papers selected from Symposium G: Bio- materials, Symposium H: Functional crystal materials, Symposium J: Multiferroics materials, Symposium K: Supercomputer materials and application, Symposium M: Nano and ultra-fine materials, Symposium N: Advanced ceramic materials, and Symposium U: Amorphous alloy and high entropy materials.What had been a conference since the early 1990s grew into a congress in2012, sprouting 23 symposia and four volumes of proceedings to handle534 selected papers. This second volume presents 137 papers selected fromsymposia on biomaterials, functional crystal materials, multi-ferroicmaterials, supercomputer materials and applications, nano and ultra-finematerials, advanced ceramic materials, and amorphous alloy and high entropymaterials. Among the topics are the performance of composite cements in the repair ofporcine thoracolumbar burst fracture , a magnetization methoddesign of bulk multi-seeded high-temperature supercomputers, themicrostructure and mechanical properties of a multi-model aluminum alloywith high strength, the mechanical evaluation of porous ceramics prepared byfiltration with a framework structure of the polycrystalline fibers, and theeffect of the gelation process on preparing aluminum titanate ultrafinepowder by the hydrolytic sol-gel method.
