Giles Scott-Smith holds the Ernst van der Beugel Chair in the Diplomatic History of Transatlantic Relations since WW II at Leiden University, and is the academic director of the Roosevelt Institute for American Studies, Middelburg, the Netherlands. He is the co-editor of the series Key Studies in Diplomacy with Manchester University Press.J. Simon Rofe is Senior Lecturer in Diplomacy and International Studies at SOAS University of London, UK. He is the co-editor of the series Key Studies in Diplomacy with Manchester University Press and the author of numerous books and articles.
