Über den Autor


The Author: Wolfgang Mieder is Professor of German and Folklore at the University of Vermont. He is an internationally acclaimed paremiologist and the founding editor of Proverbium: Yearbook of International Proverb Scholarship. His many books and articles deal with cultural, folkloristic, historical, literary, and philological topics.
