A Walk with Cooper

Author of Readers' Favorite Five Stars recipient, A Walk with Cooper, Debbie Gonzalez is back again sharing Cooper's fun-filled exploits. As a social worker, she is privileged to meet families at vulnerable times. Her greatest rewards are all the smiles. She writes to give back the joy she receives. Debbie is a licensed social worker and certified leadership coach. She specializes in child welfare and child safeguarding with over 25 years experience in leadership and direct practice. Her years in leadership offered opportunities to shape program operations to increase effectiveness in practice. Currently, she shares her experience to inspire other dedicated leaders in social service to pursue and engage in the things that bring them joy as too often the commitment to serve can lead to self-neglect. Writing children's books, brings together two loves for Debbie; the joy of interacting with children through read-alouds and the love of her fur baby Cooper. With her writing, she shares her happiness with many children and hopes to bring them smiles and encouragement to enjoy the simple things in life.
