Formed in Boston in 2001, Arcade Fire quickly relocated to Montreal and started performing in art galleries and lofts while hoping for a record deal.The early line-up quickly changed following rifts, first between co-founder Win Butler and Myles Broscoe, then between Butler and Brendan Reed.
