Über den Autor


George Chacko is Associate Professor of Finance at Santa Clara University and Founding Partner at HNC Advisors AG. He has served as Associate Professor at Harvard Business School, Managing Director at State Street Bank, and Chief Investment Officer at Auda Alternative Investments. Chacko holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Business Economics from Harvard and a B.S. from MIT; has taught and practiced valuation at multiple academic and financial institutions, and has authored several books. Carolyn L. Evans, Senior Assistant Dean at Santa Clara University, specializes in international economics and political economy. She has served as Senior Economist for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Division of International Finance; Senior Staff Economist for the White House Council of Economic Advisers; Senior Economist at Intel, Corp.; and Economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She holds an M.S. (Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science; and a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard. Barbara S. Petitt, Ph.D., CFA, is Director, Curriculum Projects, EMEA at CFA Institute. She has an in-depth knowledge of equity valuation, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Petitt has held academic positions at Thunderbird, School of Global Management in the U.S., Bournemouth University in the U.K., Skema Business School in France, and has consulted with corporate clients throughout Europe and North America. Kenneth R. Ferris, Ph.D., is a valuation and acquisition consultant to small and mid-cap companies in Central America. He has served on the faculty at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management; SMU's Cox School of Business; Thunderbird School of Global Management; Drucker School of Business at Claremont Graduate School, and Arizona State's W.P. Carey School of Business. He has served as Director for three NYSE-listed firms.
