This SpringerBrief investigates cross layer resource allocation in unlicensed LTE (Long Term Evolution) HetNets. Specifically, the authors study and cover the radio access management of unlicensed LTE to allow efficient spectrum utilization and harmonious coexistence with other unlicensed systems in this brief.
