Laurence M. Thomas is professor in the departments of political science and philosophy at Syracuse University, where he also teaches in the Jewish studies program. He is the author of numerous articles and two previous books Living Morally and Vessels of Evil. Michael E. Levin is professor of philosophy at City College and the City University of New York. He is the author of numerous books and articles, including Metaphysics and the Mind-Body Problem.
