Über den Autor


Andrew J. Nathan is a professor of political science at Columbia University and a member of that institution's East Asian Institute. He is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned his PhD in political science in 1971. Professor Nathan is a coauthor of Human Rights in Contemporary China and coeditor of Popular Culture in Late Imperial China.
