Über den Autor
Chris Impeyis a University Distinguished Professor of Astronomy at the University of Arizona. He has won 11 teachingawards and has taught two online classes with more than 180,000 students enrolled, as well as more than two million minutes of video lectures watched. He is a past Vice President of theAmerican Astronomical Society and he has been an NSF Distinguished TeachingScholar, the Carnegie Council's Arizona Professor of the Year and, mostrecently, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Professor. MatthewWenger is an Education Program Manager in the astronomy department at theUniversity of Arizona where he developed two massive open online courses(MOOCs), conducts educational research, and manages a team of undergraduatestudents who assist with research and create educational videos for YouTube andonline classes. Wenger has overseen the creation and growth of the ActiveGalactic YouTube channel and leads weekly professional development workshopsthat teach students to improve their science communication and video productionskills.
