JOYCE MILTON received a degree in library science from Swarthmore College and a master’s degree from the Pratt Institute in New York City. She lived in Brooklyn for forty years, pursuing her writing career. She was a noted author of children’s nonfiction. MICHAEL DOOLITTLE has written and taken photographs for many nonfiction books for children, such as the Step into Reading titles Choppers, Motorcycles, Trains, and Monster Trucks. He lives in Connecticut.
