Über den Autor
Valerie Reynolds is a Chicago-based writer, media professional and marketing consultant. She is also the co-founder of Hurston Media Group, LLC, a publishing and media services company dedicated to the creation, publicity and awareness of media that reflect the black experience and demystifies urban millennials. Valerie is an integrated marketing communications and media relations expert who has been spearheading organizations' content development, brand strategies, and marketing communications initiatives for close to 20 years. She is a proud native of Dayton, Ohio and holds an MBA in Marketing from American InterContinental University, a Master of Journalism from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from The Ohio State University. Valerie loves spending time with her two children, exploring the city, and traveling with friends and family. The Joys of Being a Little Black Boy is her first children's book. Her first novel, In the Middle of Wanting, was published in August of 2015.
