Über den Autor


Dr. Mattanah has taught courses in clinical and developmental psychology for 17 years as a professor at Towson University and conducted research on college student adjustment. He is a member of the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood and the American Psychological Association and sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Counseling Psychology. He has published 14 peer-reviewed journal articles, two book chapters, and presented 60 conference papers examining college student relationships with parents and peers as those affect academic, social, and emotional functioning. Professor Mattanah has received four outstanding teaching awards and directs the honors thesis program in the psychology department at Towson University. His expertise in college student development has been cited in a number of media outlets, including the Washington Post and Real Simple© magazine.
