Kost is a former Lead Ecologist and Senior Conservation Ecologist for Michigan Natural Features Inventory, USA. Bradford S. Slaughter is Michigan Natural Features Inventory's Lead Botanist, USA. Dennis A. Albert was the Lead Ecologist for Michigan Natural Features Inventory from 1987 through 2004, and he is research faculty in the Department of Horticulture at Oregon State University, USA.
