Über den Autor
The Editors: Mia Consalvo is Assistant Professor in the School of Telecommunications at Ohio University. Her research explores intersections of gender, popular culture, and new media, including the Internet as well as computer and video games. She has published articles in Feminist Media Studies, Journal of Popular Film and Television, Women's Studies in Communication, and Journal of Communication Inquiry. Susanna Paasonen is a researcher at the Department of Media Studies, University of Turku, Finland, where she recently completed her Ph.D. on the popularization and gendering of the Internet and genealogies of popular cyberdiscourse. In addition to numerous articles, she is the author of two monographs and the editor of three books on media studies and feminist theory.
