Broad Strokes
15 Women Who Made Art and Made History (in That Order)
In each chapter, art historian Bridget Quinn delves into the fascinating life and career of one of fifteen remarkable artists (some familiar, some less so) in text that's smart, feisty, educational, and a darn good read. Gorgeously illustrated with beautiful reproductions of the artists' works.
