Über den Autor
Dr. Sumita Chakraborti-Ghosh is a professor of Curriculum Instruction/Special education at Tennessee State University, Nashville, TN and lives in Franklin, TN. Sumita is also a classically trained singer, dancer, composer, writer, and an executive director of a non-profit foundation. Apart from her professional writings, Sumita also writes poetry, music, and stotra. Her play on human trafficking, We Are Not for Sale, and this novel, Groom Wanted, both portrayed the lives of women from different perspectives. In Groom Wanted, she painted the life of a Bengali immigrant woman from India who has experienced conflict between family, self-expectation and finding love. This is her first novel.
