D. Z. Phillips (d: 2006) was Danforth Professor of the Philosophy of Religion at CGU and Rush Rhees Research Professor at the University of Wales, Swansea. His main research interests included philosophy of religion, ethics, philosophy and literature, and Wittgenstein.
