Originally published in 1997, Financial Growth in Canada is the eighth title in the Investment in Canada Research Series, reissued in 2019. This volume examines how economic growth in developed countries has slowed over the last decade. The book suggests that, to reverse this trend, many countries are exploring economic policy options which can be used to stimulate key sectors of the economy. One sector considered vital for economic growth is the financial sector.
