John H. Aldrich is Pfizer-Pratt University Professor of Political Science, Duke University. He is past President of the Southern Political Science Association and of the Midwest Political Science Association and is currently serving as president of the American Political Science Association. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and held a Guggenheim Fellowship.
