David Romer is Herman Royer Professor of Political Economy at the University of California, Berkeley. Michael Spence, co-recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economics, is Professor Emeritus of Management at Stanford University¿s Graduate School of Business. Joseph Stiglitz, co-recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economics, is University Professor at Columbia University. From 1997 to 2000 he served as World Bank Chief Economist and Senior Vice President in Development Economics.
