Über den Autor


David Byrne is a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Durham. He has worked for more than thirty years as a volunteer, political activist, social researcher and academic on issues of social restructuring and poverty. He was previously Research Director of the North Tyneside Community Development Project and Reader in Sociology at the Ulster Polytechnic.
