Jeffrey M. Shaw is the author of Illusions of Freedom: Thomas Merton and Jacques Ellul on Technology and the Human Condition (Pickwick Publications, 2014). He teaches Strategy and Policy at the Naval War College. Timothy J. Demy is a Professor of Military Ethics at the Naval War College. He also serves as the American managing editor of the Journal of Military Ethics.
