Architectural Technology

Architectural technologists are at the interface between design and construction. As design becomes more complex, using a wider range of complex technologies and materials, it is essential that architectural technologists and other professionals understand the implications of their decisions on the performance of the building over its entire life cycle.This core textbook on translating creative designs into functional buildings is written for undergraduates in architectural technology, architectural engineering, architecture and building surveying.
