Jay Egg is a certified geothermal designer and founder of Egg Systems, an HVAC services company focused on geothermal technology. He is a sought-after expert on geothermal HVAC, and his team has written hundreds of web articles on the topic. Jay is the lead author of Geothermal HVAC: Green Heating and Cooling (McGraw-Hill, 2010). Greg Cunniff is an Application Engineering Manager with Taco Hydronics, a manufacturer and world authority in the field of controls and pumping technologies related to geothermal HVAC. Taco recently broke ground on a $20 million training facility in Cranston, RI, where they will be training up to 200 students at a time, focusing on geothermal technologies.Carl Orio is a geothermal heat pump systems design engineer, serving as Chairman of Water Energy Distributors, Inc. He is a Certified GeoExchange Designer (Cert#23), and directs and actively participates in training programs for geothermal design engineers and installers. Carl has authored hundreds of transactions, manuals, seminars, and papers on geothermal applications. From the mid 1970s to early 1980 he headed WESCORP Inc, manufacturing approximately 2,200 geothermal heat pumps. During that time to the present, he has developed the Standing Column Well concept, has designed systems and distributed approximately 14,000 geothermal heat pumps.
