Über den Autor
Embry Burrus grew up in Columbus, Georgia and currently lives in Opelika, Alabama. For the past fourteen years, she worked in the Department of Communication Disorders at Auburn University as a clinical supervisor in speech pathology, and is now a full-time caregiver for her older sister, Margaret, who has Down syndrome. She is co-author of a textbook, Professional Communication in Speech-Language Pathology: How to Write, Talk, and Act Like a Clinician, and has been published in Byline, Lake Martin Living and The Birmingham Arts Journal.
