David N Humphrey works as a freelance graphic designer in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England, usually with pictures but occasionally with words. Knight of Coins is his first book and the beginning of a series about the medieval mercenary Valguard. Dave is an armchair hillwalker, film buff, connoisseur of obscure music, husband and dad.
