Donald W. Fiske is professor emeritus of behavioral sciences at the University of Chicago. Among his books are Strategies for Personality Research and, with S. Duncan, Interaction Structure and Strategy. Richard A. Shweder is professor in the Committee on Human Development at the University of Chicago. He is the editor, with R. A.
