Über den Autor
Peter Wallensteen is currently Richard G. Starmann Sr. Research Professor of Peace Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, as well as being Senior Professor, formerly the Dag Hammarskjöld Professor, of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, Sweden. He is author of many articles, as well as several books, including Understanding Conflict Resolution (3rd edn, 2012), a leading textbook.Ambassador Anders Bjurner is the former Director General of the Department for European Security Policy (in the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs), Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, former Representative of Sweden to the Political and Security Committee (PSC) of the European Union and former Chairman of the civil society organization for the CSCE/OSCE. Recently, he was also a Visiting Researcher at the Department for Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University, Sweden.
