Sissinghurst
An Unfinished History
Buch
Sissinghurst is one of the jewels of the National Trust, with Vita Sackville-West's garden drawing thousands of visitors a year. It is also the home of Adam Nicolson, and his attempts to return the estate to a living farm have been followed recently in a BBC documentary series. This book combines a history of the place, together with an account of his passionate campaign to steer his inheritance in a different direction. 'Unusual, impassioned and lucidly written... a gripping but serious history' Sunday Telegraph
