Über den Autor
Richard J. Hand is Professor of Theatre and Media Drama at the University of Glamorgan, Wales, UK. He is the author of The Theatre of Joseph Conrad: Reconstructed Fictions (Palgrave, 2005) and has published numerous articles and book chapters on Conrad as well as on other figures from Ambrose Bierce to Frank Zappa. He has published numerous pieces in the area of adaptation studies and horror studies and has translated a number of plays by Victor Hugo and other French dramatists. He is an active theatre director and produced the world premiere of Conrad's Laughing Anne in 2000.
