Charles Lutwidge Dogson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll, was born on January 27, 1832 in Daresbury, Cheshire, England. He is the author of the classics Alice¿s Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and Through the Looking-Glass (1872). His works are characterized by his wonderful ability in the genre of literary nonsense. He died in 1898.The Story of Through the Looking-Glass is set some six months later than the one of Alice¿s Adventures in Wonderland.
