Out of the Blue

Since ancient times flying represents freedom, in man's quest to take to the air and let his spirit soar. The experience of learning to free fly was profound for me as a symbol of realising even more of your potential. After flying with wild eagles, I wrote down my experience to share with those close to me. My story about learning to paraglide is the result, integrating the various levels of my experience. My aim is for you to encounter the sense of magic and wonder from these pages - or even learn to fly yourself, if you are inspired to take the leap. Now there's a thought! Every once in awhile, a book comes along that inspires and moves us. This is such a book. A true story of one man's journey learning to fly. When Mike's instructor asks : 'Do you value your life? Do you feel alive' and later when Mike asks himself: 'If I can fly, what else can I do?', you find yourself wondering how you would respond. As we continue reading, we are motivated to look at whether we are truly living life or just going through the motions.
