Robert William Sandford is the author of over 30 books on the history, environment, and landscape of Western Canada. He is the EPCOR Chair for Water and Climate Security at the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment, and Health; a Fellow of the Centre for Hydrology at the University of Saskatchewan; and a Fellow of the Biogeoscience Institute at the University of Calgary. He lives in Canmore, AB.
