A political philosopher, critical theorist and writer, whose work specializes on the problem of violence, he is the author of some ten books and edited volumes, along with over fifty academic and media articles. He is the founder & director of the Histories of Violence Project.Henry A. Giroux is a world renowned educator, author and public intellectual. He currently holds the Global TV Network Chair Professorship at McMaster University in the English and Cultural Studies Department.
