Nantucket Daffodil Festival

5,000 black-and-white negatives of Nantucket island were tucked away in boxes for almost 40 years until they were dusted off and used to create three beautiful and unique photographic essays.Book One: Island Images Book Two: Daffodil Festival Book Three: Christmas Stroll Each book contains more than 70 black-and-white amazing photographs showing life on Nantucket during the years from 1979 through 1982. In Book One you'll be treated to beautiful pictures of landscapes, buildings and more, along with excerpts from the photographer's journal, his feelings, hopes and dreams, as he lived and worked on Nantucket. In Book Two, you'll become part of a photographic ride in the yearly parade for the daffodils - The Daffodil Festival - to the town of Siasconset where you will enjoy a tailgate feast and marvel at all the classic cars. And in Book Three, you'll gather with the residents of Nantucket, participate in a parade for Santa, sip hot cider while you shop and enjoy the festive celebration of the Christmas spirit that only Nantucket can offer during Nantucket's annual Christmas Stroll.
