Anti-social Behaviour Strategies
Finding a Balance
The UK government has introduced new powers for tackling anti-social behavior, such as Anti-Social Behavior Orders (ASBOs). This study examines how the new powers are being used, and what people think about them. Its findings will advance strategic thinking on the issue. Through empirical researchcombining a national survey with in-depth fieldwork in three neighborhoods experiencing high levels of anti-social behaviorit develops principles for effective responses to problems of anti-social behavior.
