Über den Autor

Once nominated for Teacher of the Year, Sue became a full-time author after her first novel, SPIRIT AND FIRE, was praised by her hero Michael Morpurgo as enthralling. He has also acclaimed JUST FOR ONE DAY as terrific and THE WATERHOUSE GIRL, in which Sue draws on her own experience of alopecia, as beautifully written. TRACES, which like POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCES is a crossover novel, was runner-up in the People's Book Prize, 2011 - 2012. Sue lives in Herts with her new husband, author and poet Leslie Tate. As well as visiting schools, Sue guest-lectures to trainee teachers, addresses audiences of adult readers and writers, appears at book festivals and was a speaker at the Marvellous Women Conference in Brighton in 2102.
