Responding to Bishop Robert Ceneau, Sorbonnist, Bucer's subject-matter is twofold. Ian Hazlett, educated at Belfast, St. Andrews, Strasbourg, and Munster (Dr. Theol. 1977), is Senior Lecturer in Ecclesiastical History at Glasgow University. Publications focus on Bucer, Calvin, Knox, Mary Stewart etc. and he has edited Early Christianity (SPCK, 1991).
