The Mystery of the Ages was first placed in writing in the fifth century B.C. by Daniel the Prophet. Daniel, at the age of 16, was taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar and given the name of Belteshazzar. Belteshazzar meant Bel Protect His Life.
