Wallis is an academic and Anglican priest who lives in Yorkshire, UK, where he teaches biblical studies at St Hild College, Mirfield, and is a member of the Penistone and Thurlstone Team Ministry. Along with many scholarly articles, he has written Jesus Christ in Early Christian Traditions (1995) and Holy Saturday Faith (2000).
